Hello my lovelies,

I have news! My song ‘Could it be you?’ is out TODAY! yayayayay

It’s a true story about a disastrous first date at the Ritzy cinema a few years ago. I’m a hopeless romantic and felt like every date I went on at the time I was thinking ‘could it be you? Or you??’ Safe to say it was not… it was actually one of the most awkward dates of my life. Listen to find out what I’m talking about: Could it be you?

Fab and Lester

My producer Lester and I wanted this to feel like a warm hug and to sound like musicians playing together in the same room. We were so lucky that George Ezra leant us his studio, Hotel Quebec so we could track the rhythm section and vocals together.

Lester Duval on production, bass, Fabio De Oliveira on drums and percussion and Alex Crawford on guitars.

Over the summer, we added a male choir and overdubs of guitar and Hammond organ across London studios and friends’ home setups.

Here’s a photo of us listening back in the control room, very serious business. I would love to hear what you think of this new number! As ever, I am so very grateful for your support.

I hope you’re warm and cozy wherever you are. November can be a rough month. Aside from my birthday (scorpio, naturally) it can be a pretty grim shock to the system with short days and sharp, bitter wind. I hope that this song brings a smile to your face and feels like the warm hug it was intended to be!
